Three-time bro bowler and 2nd overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, Linebacker LaVar Arrington enjoyed an individually successful NFL career before it came to an abrupt end in 2007 after a serious motorcycle accident in which LaVar lost control of his bike and ran into a guardrail. With serious injuries sustained in the crash, LaVar Arrington announced his retirement from football three months later.
