San Diego Chargers Shawne Merriman - Home (2007-10)

Before the team moved two hours north to Los Angeles, the Chargers were a San Diego team and Shawne Merriman was a promising young linebacker when he was drafted 12th overall from Maryland. Explosive first few seasons with the Chargers earned Merriman the honors of Defensive Rookie of the year and three Pro Bowl call-ups before injuries deminished Merriman's abilities to perform as he did in his first three years. Merriman retired in 2012 as a Buffalo Bill.
